Maybe I will come visit. Looks like you have plenty of room for Mom and maybe Barkley. You seem to have all the comforts of home and certainly you won't go hungry. You will have to have some "neighbors" over for dinner. Miss you lots, Love, Mama
hahaha! it was like an episode from cribs! especially the view of the fridge ... but i have to say, you have a TON of cake mix for 10 weeks!!!! you better be making some sa-weeeeet cakes for your folks in Klemtu. Can't wait to see some of the people you meet and all the beautiful things you learn. miss you, friend! by the way, i finished the mini! =) you'd be so proud ...
agree with fabs...proably need to get some crystal for the fridge before your updated cribs episode. also need a collection of cars to show in the driveway (although a ferry might work better). jealous that you got to watch the chelsea/barca game yesterday! Can't wait to skype this weekend. keep up the great blogging.
Ali - Thanks for the tour - been praying and see HE is protecting you and providing. Those Klemtuians (new word) are very fortunate to have a soccer player and cook amongst them for the next 10 weeks. Will be watching and praying for you, dear one. Nancy Hettlinger
Ali - I was so excited to see your new home! I can tell you are following in your dad's footsteps and will someday be a great announcer/commentator. It's so nice to visualize what you're up to. We miss you!
GREAT tour, Ali! That's quite a cozy pad - complete with lots of food. My favorite - the cake mixes and peanut butter M&M's. I'd have a hard time sharing those! Praying for you! Lisa
A few minutes into the tour I had a vision of you as Tom Hanks in Castaway, talking to your soccer ball like it was a person. Glad you are all settled into the aptly named "(B)rown house" and that you have your priorities in order (cake with all the necessary trimmings, fiber one bars, etc.). If you ever tire of baking cakes, meticulously organizing bulk grocery items and watching soccer on tv, you can always revert to stuffing yourself into your suitcase and riding up and down the elevator for a good laugh. P.S. Save some butter for the rest of us!
It's great to see you and your new digs, Ali. Glad things have gone smoothly. Wish we had that kind of view! We miss you and are praying for you. Sharon Murphy
Hey Ali!! Have enjoyed reading about and viewing your experience. Having been to Alaska a couple times myself, I know how much you are enjoying the beauty of your surroundings. We'll take care of T on M's day. B&B both say hi! Enjoy and take care. S & K
Great tour, Ali. Glad to see you are doing ok - I really enjoyed reading the blog so far. I am sure you will be a blessing to this community and that the experience will bless you as well. Take good care of yourself. love you! Annie
After graduating from Indiana University in May of 2007 and taking time off to find out what I am most passionate about pursuing as a career, God has directed my path to medical school in Chicago. My ultimate goal is to become a medical missionary and provide healthcare to those in need in the United States and abroad.
I was blessed with the greatest possible teammates and friends when I joined a travel soccer team 16 years ago, and I could not be prouder to be apart of this once in a lifetime experience of running a marathon together.
Nice tour. Good to hear your coice. When we visit, the crow will have to go !!!
